(More customer reviews)I was little skeptical at first when it said that I could cook everything in microwaves. It just sounded too good to be true. But, I bought it any way to give it a try and it turned out to be my best purchase ever online! The same day my Microhearth arrived, I cooked about an inch thick steak. I did about 8 minutes on one side and about 2 minutes on the other side. It was surprise after surprise. I heard sizzling sound of steak grilling on the pan when I took it out of a microwave oven. The sound that you would never, ever expect from microwave cooking! It was beautiful! Then, when I slice it to taste it, I saw a perfect pink in the middle, not too rare but not too cooked. By the time, you put a slice in your mouth, you couldn't believe it. It truly was too good to be true! My husband always complains about my steak since I tend to overcook it and turns out too dry. I couldn't help it. But, not this time! He was amazed with its taste and when I told him I cooked it in microwave, he said, "No way!" I replied back and said, "Yes, way, baby!" I also cooked fish fillets. Frozen or fresh, it didn't matter. It always turned out beautifully, juicy and tasty. Now, I prepare a meal in a jiffy, yet, tasty. Ever since I got my hands on a Microhearth, I haven't turned on my oven since! Talking about big saving in energy cost....anything helps in these days.....I'm so happy that I found Microhearth in my life and I recommend it to anyone who has microwaves but who doesn't own one in these days! Just put it at work right way!
