Chicago Metallic 26631 12-Cup Nonstick Madeleine Pan Review

Even though it has a coated surface, I found a light dusting of spray cooking oil made the baking experience even smoother. There was absolutely no sticking, and the cookies came out perfectly. This is an excellent product. I definitely recommend it.

(More customer reviews)I love this Pyrex set--though it's not a huge set, with just the 3 pieces, but they work so well together and are so incredibly handy that it's more helpful than many "sets." The key is how well the lid attaches to the pans, keeping everything inside warm and making transport especially simple. It may be hard to believe, but I made a giant dish of macaroni and cheese in the square pan to take to a dinner party, and it must have weighed 5 pounds, but when I snapped that lid on, it was super easy to carry, and the handle never got hot. Really fantastic. The pans are nice too, sturdy and tough, with some of the best non-stick I've ever worked with--I used the muffin pan to make mini broccoli frittatas to take to a brunch and they slid right out (and, again, the lid kept them warm during transport). If you ever take food places (to parties, to work, to your family) then I strongly suggest this set, as well as if you're just looking for a few good baking pans.

I can honestly say that we went through more than 10 toasters of various prices - high and low - half of them made unacceptable toast - and half of them broke while making unacceptable toast - and then we found the Dualit. This was about 5 years ago - in a true panic, I thought I would just go out and buy the most expensive toaster there was - and found this one at williams-sonoma. Sticker shock, but I've recommended it since, to everyone who toasts. And it has made perfect toast since the day we bought it.
It's great - it is really easy to clean. There is no relying on electronics to decide how toasted the bread is - you figure it out and you know forever - about 2 minutes for a piece of toast for wheat bread from the fridge into cold toaster - if second round of toast and toaster is hot, cut it by 25%. The little ticking sound while it's fixing your perfect toast is nice to keep you remembering that you have toast - and when the ticking stops (no cha-ching), you know you are ready.
I have zero regrets and hundreds of absolutely perfect toasting experiences. And we paid full price - this was before amazon got into this market. Dualit is the best toaster in the world -and me? - I am the toaster queen.

We had given up "fresh" donuts to buy GF frozen ones, which are good, but nothing like hot and homemade. My 8-yr-old daughter was in heaven -- we made glazes from the recipes that came with the maker and also just sprinkled them with cinnamon sugar. The doughnuts are small, so she ate 5 of them -- for our family of 5 we made about 20 doughnuts. Very easy, quick and a fun morning treat!

(More customer reviews)These cupcake liners are so cute!!! However, if baking anything other than white cupcake, don't bother. I used these for chocolate, red velvet and white cupcakes. After baking, only on the white cupcakes could you still see the design and color of the liners. I don't know what it is about the chocolate and red velvet cupcakes but when the liners came out of baking you could barely tell what color/design the liners were. They mostly looked like whatever color cupcake I had just baked. I used the lime green, orange, light blue and brown (all with white polka dots) and it was the same for all of them. I even tried to double line the cupcake pan, but that didn't work either because the liners wouldn't stay together after baking.
If you have a better solution, I would love to hear it! Otherwise I recommend these only on white cupcakes!

John Wright 15-in. Shell Muffin Pan Review

(More customer reviews)I have had this pan for several years. Since I live at the beach I thought it would be something I would use often and felt it would be worth the high price tag. When I first got it I tried it several times to fix various muffins and cornbread. However, I was disappointed on several points. First, the detail (although beautiful) makes it very difficult for items to come out easily. I found even though I used Baker's Joy everything stuck and didn't come out without breaking. 2. While there are 8 cavities, it still will not hold all your batter and you have to bake multiples if you are using a standard recipe. All in all, I would say while it is a great idea I have not gotten my money's worth of use from it. However, I just recently purchased the banana bread pan with palm design (wonderful pan) and I am going to try this pan again so that I can have a shell and palm motif dessert.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this pan without measuring the width of my oven. I wanted a huge pan to roast a turkey in. Because I cook turkey in a Portuguese marinade, the juices always overflow the typical smaller roasting pans.
However, the pan is too big for my oven! Stupid me for not measuring the oven first.
But let me tell you: This pan is absolutely fantastic! Incredibly durable quality, yet not so heavy that someone with minimal strength could not lift it.
The roasting pan arrived long early in the delivery window and it arrived in perfect shape.
I am reordering the correct size for my oven from ReStockIt!

(More customer reviews)My 6 year old really wanted the Gourmet Cupcake Maker for Christmas this year. I would have gotten it for her, but hated seeing all the bad reviews and knew it would just become disappointing clutter. Well, one day we were in a bookstore and saw this set on display and she fell in love with it. We talked about the differences in the two sets, such as the fact that she would have to buy extra mixes to make more cupcakes with the Gourmet set, or she could use regular cake mix and frosting from mommy's pantry for this set. And she could make six mini cupcakes at a time, which she can share with her sisters, instead of just one big one. The deal breaker was the different icing tips she can use. My mother decorates cakes, and she was excited to be able to "make cupcakes like Grandma's". She scratched the Gourment Cupcake set off her list and added this set. We've already made mini cupcakes and mini muffins. One box of mix will make ton of minis and take forever, so we've done 3 batches in the mini tray (18 cupcakes), and then use our regular muffin pan to make 6 big ones. It works out great! The icing tube was easy for her to use, and we had lots of different sprinkles in our pantry to add to it. She had the best time! She loves to cook, so I'm going to look for more of these sets for her. I also like the fact that she can do more than just cupcakes with this set. We've made muffins, but she could also make little biscuits or rolls. There are a lot of possibilities with this little set.

(More customer reviews)I have used this pan 4 times, and have finally perfected it on the 4th attempt. I swore that if it stuck on my last attempt that I would through the pan out the window. The first several times I only greased the pan and the cakes stuck 3 of the times. The key is using "Baker's Joy", a cooking spray you can find in your local grocery store or through the Nordicware website. This spray greases and flours in one. I used it last night and my cake literally fell out of the pan--it was wonderful. It also made the pan cleanup 100 times easier. Also, you can only fill the pan 3/4 of the way or it will spill over.
