Getting down into those large containers and scooping up the last dollops for a sandwich can get messy with a spoon, and a small rubber scraper just doesn't spread like it should. Was pleasently surprized when this 'ZipFlip' arrived because it was plenty long, had a cutting edge for cakes, and was robust as far as heft was concerned.
This is one of those kitchen helpers that you will see advertized or even notice it in the store but aren't hit immediately with the vision of how it could make life easier as you cook. But once it finds a place in your gadget drawer you will find it indispensible for all those odd jobs that require venturing into the bottom of jars, pans ( a really good 'Bundt pan' scraper ), cans and smearing icing on cakes (especially cupcakes).
Handy, well made, versatile and it cleans up easily in the dishwasher. Like I said, indispensible.
I plan on buying another.
