(More customer reviews)I bought one cake pan by Orka, and then some others by various brands. The difference in quality is huge! The other brands of bakeware were flimsy and had to be placed on a cookie sheet, otherwise it was like trying to carry pudding in a plastic sack. Orka bakeware is thicker and denser which allows you to handle it by the stifffened rim without the sides collapsing or bending. Also, the interiors of the Orka pans are very shiny and slick, making the baked cake 'pop out' as it's supposed to, whereas the other brands have a matte finish that clings to your food and holds odors. I baked Thanksgiving stuffing in a 'K' brand loaf pan and wound up donating it to Goodwill afterwards when scrubbing with baking soda and soaking it for a week couldn't get rid of the onion smell.
