(More customer reviews)I was very satisfied with another product by New Hope Mills called sugar free pancake mix, so I wanted to try a different product this time. Without being aware of the orange/cranberry muffin mix receiving better reviews, I went ahead and purchased this blueberry muffin mix instead.
The sugar free part indeed holds its promise. I tested my blood glucose one hour after eating a blueberry muffin, it did not raise my BG much at all. The taste part is somewhat weird. It has a strange after-taste that I don't know how to describe. I had my 2nd muffin with little fruit jelly to cover up the after taste, but then it kinda lost the point of having low carb desserts!! Perhaps I will add splenda and use butter next time when I bake the rest mix.
