(More customer reviews)I've been looking for a long time for these gadgets; ever since I saw a short order chef in a Waffle House use them. I finally found these and ordered them. They are perfect for making Egg McMuffins at home.
I recommend you use spray Pam all around the ring so it will release the egg when it's ready to be flipped. Also don't forget to let the egg sit on the frying pan for a minute or so after you've flipped it as the yolk won't be as solidly cooked as it might seem. Don't ask me how I know that.
I use a hemostat to grip the tab when I'm ready to flip the egg so I don't burn myself. I don't think you'd want to use a bare finger on it.
Finally, I couldn't come up with any reason to keep all four rings. In fact, I do my best work with just one. So I gave two of them to my Dad the last time he came to visit and kept the other two. Both of us are happy with the gadgets.
